The Lab Bar is an innovative bar concept that focuses on the research and development of the coffee and cocktail specialties.

To make the challenge and the challenge behind it visible and comprehensible, an old art movement, initiated by Oscar Reutersvärd, was used.

It is clear that the seemingly impossible is possible and there is room for unusual but functioning recipes. Many of the ideas are based on what is known and have been further developed and reinterpreted in an innovative way.

Oscar Reutersv√§rd (1915-2002), also known as the “Father of Impossible Imagery”, was a Swedish artist who developed three-dimensional sculptures in the 1930s, which at first glance appear to be meaningful but are physically impossible in hindsight.

The new mixes were typically prepared in a small research report and stapled into a clipboard that acts as a map. The basic flavors are summarized in an infographic, the ingredients are textually complementary. The guest can choose from sweet, sour, salty and dry. The description provides information on spirits, flavorings and processing.

On the website, all information on the bar are briefly summarized. For the coffee shop, which takes place during the day, the page is displayed in a coffee-brown, in the evening and at night in dark blue. This function is time-controlled and changes depending on the time.
